The Little DJ puts the needle on the record

My wife is a DJ and spends countless hours curating music for her MP3 blog. Her latest obsession has been to collect the best kid-friendly music for kitchen dance parties with Baby Daphne. It’s so cute when she comes home. She scoops up Daphne and they dance together as they get reunited. It’s a great way to reconnect and help the baby burn some energy at the end of the day.

Here’s where you can download volumes 1, 2 and 3. Featured artists include They Might Be Giants, Sarah Harmer, Harry Belafonte, Feist, Parliament, Anni Lennox, Jim Henson, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon. Kids’ music doesn’t have to be boring or screechingly annoying.

Now get downloading and dancing. You’re welcome.

Very cool. A friend of mine had one of those record players when I was very small. Is that a retro one or are they still making them?

They have re-issued the classic toys, including the record player. Unfortunately, the new version uses batteries and isn’t entirely mechanical like the original. It’s still awesome, though and Baby D loves it.
